Day care center “Peixinho Feliz” Porto Amazonas, Brazil
The day care center in Porto Amazonas, 86 km southwest of Curitiba, takes care of 105 children until the have finished their education. Children are provided with daily meals, health care, spiritual guidance, they can do sports and games.These children mostly come from dysfunctional and socially disadvantaged families who live in poverty. Therefore parents and families are visited and supported with counsel, meetings and prayer. Also computer-, handicraft- and sewing courses as well as vocational school are offered to all families and village people. Donations for a godchild support whole families and the village they come from.
