Project Aquaponic: Fish farming, vegetable growing and digging of wells in the region of Kpalimé, Togo

At the YWAM base in Agou young people and villagers are taught how to grow fish in a closed system of water tanks and then use the nutrient-rich water for fertilization in vegetable farming. Thus, they can produce fish and vegetables for their families and communities. In addition, two wells have been created to ensure that women and children no longer have to run 5-10 Km to find drinking water, which usually is not clean and drinkable. With the construction of two wells the route has been shortened to 1-2 Km. People finally can have clean water!
