The project brings relief supplies and medical aid to one group of the world’s most oppressed peoples – the Rohingya in Burma. These people live in oppression and great deprivation, many are housed in refugee camps and have little chances to create a livelihood. The Rohingya are Muslim, who centuries ago settled in the west of Burma as Arab traders and immigrants from Bengal. They developed their own cultural identity.
